Gifts

Several or our members have brought gifts to our suppers so that they can be used as prizes for our raffle. These gifts  have consisted of bottles of Portuguese wine, white and red, champagne, whisky, flowers and books.

This has been a very good gesture in as much  as with the raffle we have made very good profits, so that we can buy more books  in English about Portuguese culture and history to  be given the the public libraries of New England.
