Profits of our Suppers
The Board of Directors of the Academy of Cod Fish decided that the profits of the Codfish suppers should be applied to buy books in English about Portugal and to be given to the public libraries, high School, Colleges and Universities of New England.
This way our fellow American citizens will be able to read in English information about Portugal, its culture and its people.
At the same time this gesture will also serve our sons, daughters and grandchildren to be able to read in their mother tongue - English - about the country of origin of their ancestors.
