Elections – Yes, two years have passed since our current Academy’s Board Members were elected. It is time to form a nominating committee to nominate a slate of officers to continue the purpose of the Academy. We need three members for the committee; interested members should see the President – Antonio Teixeira.
Congratulations – Our Compadre and Treasurer Manuel Rodrigues and his wife, Comadre Otilia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Also our Compadre Secretary Luciano da Silva and his wife, Comadre Sílvia celebrated their 50th weeding anniversary. Congratulations to both couples and best wishes for many more healthy years!

Our Dr. will make a slide presentation by showing all the historical documents
that he and his wife were able to discover including the Papal Bulls that they found in the
Library of the Vatican, in Rome, Italy, with the name of the Navigator written in old Portuguese!
Come and bring your family and friends.
Take route 24 and exit 10. Follow the signs to Dighton Rock State Park.
It is 10 miles north of Fall River.
