"True Antilles" is the name given by Dr. Manuel Luciano da Silva to the islands of the Canadian Maritime Provinces: Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, when, in 1989, he discovered the lines of the latitude, on the Chart of 1424.
Dr. Da Silva considers this discovery his greatest discovery in cartography.
